Rebecca I. Flores

From an early age, Rebecca took a keen interest in cameras, dabbling in photography and broadcast  journalism.  While attending The University of Texas at Austin, she was elected Station Manager 2 years in a row at the student-run TV station, KVR-TV.  She earned a degree in Broadcast Journalism and a second in Spanish Language. 

After working as a freelance filmmaker and videographer in central Texas, Rebecca earned a Masters in Film Production from the University of Southern California, and soon after found herself helping build a graduate film program in the Middle East.

In 2012, Rebecca returned to Texas and has continued her work in education as an Adjunct Professor at SMU and UT Arlington. More recently, she founded the Neighborhood Media Arts and continues her work as a freelance photographer and filmmaker.
